Every year the KEG insititute (Greek Language Centre) of Thessaloniki in Greece issues certificates of attainment in Greek language. The KEG certiticates are recognized by the Greek Ministry of Education and are valid for life worldwide. The levels of attainment of KEG are the same as in the CEFR: they range from A1 to C2. The exams, held annually (usually in May) in authorized examinations centres, assess the learner’s skills in: listening, reading, writing and speaking.

Our teachers, some of whom are or have been KEG examiners, are specialized in training students to take the KEG exams at any level. This kind of lessons involve a lot of practice and exercises targeted to develop each skill that is going to be tested. Exam simulations will help you to get familiar with and to understand what it takes to pass KEG exams. Self-study is crucial to taking a successful exam, that is why, you will be provided with plenty of homework. Most of the learning material used in the preparatory classes is drawn from authentic KEG examinations of past years and from textbooks written to this purpose.
