The curriculum of these 60 minute, one-to-one lessons is based on the guidelines of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) which divides learners of a foreign language according to the competences and skills they have acquired.  There are 6 progressive levels in the CEFR: A1 – A2 (Basic user), B1 – B2 (Independent User), C1 – C2 (Proficient User). Before starting, if you don’t know your level, you will be given a test to assess it.

Being structured according to the CEFR, regular lessons aim to improve in a balanced way all your language competences and skills: understanding (listening and reading), speaking (spoken interaction and spoken production) and writing.  This does not mean that the lessons are standardized, on the contrary, they will be tailor-made by your tutor according to your strengths and weaknesses and to develop the skills you need the most.
Grammar sessions alternate with practice through conversations, activities, games and written compositions in order to make the lesson enjoyable and proactive.

Of course, in order to enhance your learning, the lessons must be backed up by out-of-class studying. After each session you will be assigned some homework in the form of exercises, tasks and activities which will be reviewed by your teacher.
